 Teaching Observation and Evaluation
As part of the observation package, Dr. Morris will do the following:

• Meet with you to discuss your goals and expectations for the peer observation process (0.5 hour)
• Provide an evaluation tool for you to use in the observation process
• Review the teaching materials related to the unit you are choosing for her to view before she observes your teaching (1 hour)
• Observe you teaching, including:
o a short practice session to make sure remote connections work (audio, visual, etc. about 15 minutes)
o Observe your teaching for one class period (1-1.5 hours)
o Optional: provide a short survey for student feedback during the session.
• Write an evaluation on letterhead and send it to you (and anyone else you choose) along with her CV (2 hours)
• Meet with you to discuss the evaluation (1 hours)

Dr. Morris has 6+ years of experience teaching in the Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics program at MSU, where she participates in several vibrant faculty communities that support and study excellent teaching, including the Educator Development Network and the Teaching Evaluation Committee for the College of Natural Science. She is also the graduate program director for their online Master’s Programs, an Adams Academy for Instructional Excellence and Innovation Fellow (2016-2017), and a Faculty Fellow at the Hub for Innovation in Learning and Technology (2018-2019).
